Caorunn Gin: An Aromatic Adventure

Caorunn is distilled at Balmenach Distillery, a working malt whisky distillery, which traces its origins back to 1824, making it one of the oldest distilleries in the Speyside region of the Scottish Highlands. Spirit distillation is an ancient craft, ingrained in the genes of warm hearted Scottish Highland people, who cascade their experiences from generation to generation. These knowledgeable people put their heart and soul into the production of Caorunn Gin to bring alive a truly Scottish Gin.

In the Scottish Highlands everything and everybody lives in harmony with nature. The five Celtic botanicals grow on the surrounding hills and in the garden of our distillery nurtured by the springs and burns of the Scottish Highlands.

The slow distillation technique of the Copper Berry Chamber allows the botanicals to be deeply embedded in the pure grain spirit. A Caorunn gin and tonic is uniquely served with a freshly cut red apple. The only gin made in the Speyside region of the Scottish highlands, it is one part imagination, one part inspiration, one part stimulation, one part intrigue and one part exhilaration. Caorunn is a dry and crisp, aromatic taste adventure featuring a long dry finish.

Editorial disclosure: Caorunn is one of five brands of the InterBevGroup that have provided some initial development funding for this site. In lieu of that support, Caorunn is the initial advertiser of our “The Kicker” category.
